Most version 1.3 additions have been driven by user input. Not everyone will want to use every change so things are configurable in the settings dialog.

With password protection enabled the Notebook program will prompt for a password when the program is started and when the program window is restored from minimized.
If you frequently work through Midnight you can select a rollover hour after midnight so today's notes extend through your working day.
You can now edit previous days if Pencil is enabled here. If you'd still like to keep the Ink but add notes to the previous days there's an annotation available on the right mouse button.
You can print either in two columns ( for lists on small pieces of paper ) or full page width.
The right mouse button now works in most editing windows. You can customize the text which it inserts, including a timestamp, in the settings dialog above and they'll appear when the right mouse button is clicked.
With the right mouse button
you can add your customized text, remove extraneous carriage
returns and immediately print any selected text.
You can now search in 4 different modes and specify what period of months to search.
The 4 modes
The standard search which shows you all the pages with matches. You can scan back and forth through the results.
All the search results are shown on a single page

Search for "<RSN hours" shows all the entries made for this in the last month. Note "<RSN hours xx:xxPM >" is a right mouse item.
This is an example of organizing your information by using the right mouse button, your own key words and a timestamp.
"<" and ">" also have special meaning. If the text between them is longer than a single line the entire text between the notes will be included on this page.
This search was
for the alarms containing Birthday coming up in the next two
months.
Quick Search Scanning:
You can now scan quick search
results in the lists and change a list name.
That's it for the version 1.3 highlights.
