Nick Noxious and the Necrophiliacs
Boneyard Lullabies

Boneyard Lullabies

"Like an unholy combination of Nick Cave and Rob Zombie, with a psychotic pinch of The Cramps thrown into the stew. "
                                                             -- Cemetery Dance

"Horror + humor x good ole', hard drivin' rock 'n roll = Nick Noxious and the Necrophiliacs. This is the real deal--butt rockin' tunes with side-splitting lyrics that are a pure delight for fans of the horror genre. Come Hallowe'en, I expect to hear Nick's tunes all over the radio, but this is year 'round tunage for any midnight revels or roadtrips. Enjoy."
                                                             -- Rick Hautala

"The Nick Noxious CD is the tastiest bit of musical roadkill stew I've come across in a long time.  Rock n roll, horror, and black comedy have never mixed this well!"

                                                             -- Christopher Golden

Since their humble beginnings in the early eighties, this band has been breaking frosted ground with songs of the grisly and gruesome.  The history of the Necros includes periods of inanimate slumber punctuated with an occasional disinterment to wrack the ears of a fresh set of corpses, with a new lineup and a revitalized songlist.

Finally, after years of clawing at the lids of their caskets, they are fully risen and walking among us.

Boneyard Lullabies is a collection of shroud-pleasing tunes inspired by the real-death experiences of Nick Noxious during the winter of '03-'04.  This is genuine rock music, the kind of rock you'll want to carve your name into, but be prepared for the occasional bizarre twist one might encounter in such a dark realm.

Horror fans familiar with Glenn Chadbourne's art will recognize the cast of characters and the landscapes they inhabit.  Music fans will appreciate the wacky musical shenanigans of the Necrophiliacs, and most anybody will get a hundred belly laughs, unless they're, uh... dead.

If Boneyard Lullabies alone doesn't put your inner corpse to rest,

there's a companion art folio by Glenn in EC comic style.
The sample at right depicts poor Evelyn's night of revelation.
Each song gets a similar treatment - Glenn's art contains
detail to mesmerize that kooky missing eye for days and nights.

Boneyard Lullabies is available with or without the companion art at , your one-stop shop for horror.  While you're there, check out more of Glenn Chadbourne's art and the rest of the great Shocklines stuff.
