COMMUNITY READ ALOUD
SUCCESS BY 6, in partnership with the United Way of Midcoast Maine, is sponsoring the fourth annual Community Read Aloud on Tuesday March 3. A volunteer from the community will visit classrooms to read a favorite story and to celebrate the anniversary of Dr. Seuss' birthday and Read Across America Day.

IT'S TIME!! Time to take the UNPLUG IT challenge from your school library and Skidompha Public Library to find out what life is like without TV. The purpose of UNPLUG IT WEEK is not to punish you or make you feel guilty about watching TV. It is to help children and their parents get a better idea of how TV affects their lives. Believe it or not, most families report contented children, more family interaction and an all-around good experience during UNPLUG IT WEEK.
