Description of the task using a prompt format (FAT-P - form, audience, topic, purpose)
As a member of the Greek Fifth Grade Forum, you are to nominate a Greek Citizen of the Year. It is your job to determine qualities of your greek person that would prove him or her to be an effective citizen. Your writing and presentation needs to persuage other members of the forum in order for your candidate to be selected.
Student products/performances:
Persuasive speech Accurately describes attributes of
contributing member of Greek Society
Criteria for evaluating students products / performances:
Organization Demonstrates knowledge of good
citizenship Details Includes at least 2-3 effective traits,
with examples, portraying your greek citizen Persuasiveness Strategies of address (eye contact,
speaking voice-tone and rate, correct grammar)
