Boat Fire
The "Pride-n-Joy" of South Bristol caught fire and burned

Coast Guard from Boothbay Harbor, Maine
The Pride-n-Joy caught fire off the west shore of Rutherford Island.  It was initially knocked down where it came to shore, and then towed to the Town Landing by Sea-Tow.  Firefighters from South Bristol and Bristol, with the assistance of the U.S. Coast Guard, then worked to put out the blaze below deck.  The operation used 75 gallons of AFFF foam.
