Mrs. Hoffman has some secrets that I know. The thing that got her interested in being our school principal was that she absolutely adores children. She also likes planning things for a whole school. Did you know that she's been here for fourteen years! She absolutely loves watching kids learn. She's taught a lot of other things, too. They are reading, first grade, English, college, swimming, basketball, softball, and language arts. Guess what? She likes everything about her job except disciplining children. I have one last secret about Mrs. Hoffman. She doesn't like her job, she loves it!
Mr. Wheeler, I have some secrets about him too. He likes his job very much. He has been here for ten years! You know something? He doesn't mind cleaning up after us. He works really long, eight hours a day. His favorite thing to do at school is helping others and learning about computers. Again I come to the last secret I know. He likes working with the staff and kids.
Carol is our lunch lady, along with some others. She loves her job. The thing that got her interested in being our lunch lady was that she loves children. To tell you the truth, other than being our lunch lady, she'd rather be a grandmother. She thinks the school's favorite food is salad. You know what her favorite thing to do at school is? It's to talk with kids. I know one more thing about her. She likes everything about this school, but she really likes being here.

Mrs. Hanson has been here for a long time. She's been here for seventeen years. Her favorite thing to do is work with kids and watch them grow, both their bodies and their minds. The thing that got her interested in being a P. E. teacher was her high school P.E. teacher and coach. She taught at a gymnastics school. Her favorite things to do at school are Climbers and everything else. These are all of the things she likes about her job. She loves working with children. Their smiling faces, motivation, enthusiasm and innocence are some things she really enjoys. She sees the children for five years in a row, and she gets to know us really well. She especially enjoys watching us grow and mature. She likes being creative and her job allows that flexibility. She likes making it fun for us in class. She likes challenges that we make her face everyday. She doesn't like saying good bye to us fourth graders. It's really hard for her. She doesn't like getting older because she can really get wiped out some days. She really doesn't like dresses, winter boots, and sandals in gym class.
Did you know that Mr. Saufler's been here for nine years? Well, he has. You know something else? He really likes his job. Being a guidance counselor is the part he likes most. He works nine hours a day. His favorite thing to do in school is to eat lunch with the children. He likes spending time with the kids. He dislikes not having enough time in the day to do everything he wants.
