Our class did an erosion project with sand and water. We made a hill out of the sand in a tin box. With a tin can with holes at the bottom we put water in and pored it on the hill of sand. The water built up and then dissolved in the sand. When the water dissolved, the water carried some of the sand and made a stream,river and a big ocean at the bottom of the hill. The water made the sand go down into the ocean and the rocks all showed up. Some of the little rocks rolled into the water. We talked as a class and wrote what had happened on a piece of paper. There was a stream,river and an ocean at the end.
