Mandy's Water Erosion

 

Our class did a water erosion project. The rain made streams and rivers and it made a big ocean too. We predicted what might happen when the rain hit the sand. We used a coffee can with holes in the bottom for our rain maker, a pan, sand, and water. When we were done with our project, we had made the land erode.

We pressed the sand down too hard when we did the first experiment so the next time we did our second experiment, we had holes in the bottom of the pan. The water leaked out of the pan.
