The Water Erosion Process

By Mark D.

When you do this experiment you need a tin pan, some sand, and some water. First you take the sand and make a slope in the pan. After that you try to predict what will happen when you pour the water onto the slope. Then after that you pour the water and see what forms. You will problobly notice the little groves the water carves out of the sand. You will probably call the grooves rivers and streams. You will notice that there is a big puddle of water (in other words, a little ocean) at the bottom of the slope you made with the sand. Then you draw a picture of what it looks like after the water settles down.
