Last week our letter was I. Miss I has itchy itches.
We made igloos.
We read a book called The Important Book. Then we made our own book like it that told what is important about us.
This week our letter is J. Mr. J has jumbled junk.
We read Jack and the Beanstalk. We made pictures of what happened at the top of the beanstalk and what happened at the bottom of the beanstalk.
We made a big jigsaw puzzle about things we like to do in January (when there is snow!). Everyone made one piece. Next week we will put it together.
We made snowmen. We used sponges to paint the snow.
We are making a number book. It has stickers in it.
We are starting to learn to read little books. We have book baskets we keep the books in so we can practice reading them. It's fun to read our books to each other.
We are planning a play we will do about a book called The Hat by Jan Brett.
We read a funny story called One Snowy Night. All the animals in the story want to come in the house to sleep with Percy, the park keeper. It gets too crowded!
