Our Week in School

Our letter this week is O. Miss O is obstinate which means she doesn't do what she is supposed to do.

We made a book about opposites.

We made owls with wings that move.

We did the number 6 in our number books.

We had an obstacle course. We did it with partners. Then we saw how fast the whole class could do it.

We read the book Owl Moon,

We had a field trip to Chewonki. We saw live birds that had been injured and could no longer live in the wild. The teachers at Chewonki use them to help kids learn about birds. We saw 2 owls, a kestrel, a bald eagle, and a mallard duck. We also saw a Regina bird! Regina dressed up like a bird . She had a beak and webbed feet and three kinds of feathers. She had down feathers to keep warm, contour feathers to keep dry, and flight feathers to fly. We had a good time on our trip.
