Our Week in School

Our letter is E. Miss E likes to exercise.

We made elephants. We braided yarn for the tails.

We made envelopes. We drew pictures for each other and mailed them in our envelopes. Then we opened our mail

We keep working on patterns. Lots of our patterns have three parts now.

We heard the story of the Elves and the Shoemaker.

We practiced left and right. We wore red yarn on our right hands.

At the library we heard the story Seven Blind Mice. The we made the elephant and mice in the story.

We went to a Kinderconcert and met the instruments in the String family.

We worked in our writing notebooks.

We did a matching activity with names and pictures of children in our class.

We read The Little Engine That Could.

We did the E page in our alphabet books.

Notes From Mrs. Baston

I will look forward to talking with you at conferences on Monday--or later in the week if we have scheduled a different day. If for any reason you cannot make your conference, please call the school to let me know. I will be discussing general information about the Kindergarten curriculum as well as discussing your child's adjustment to school and progress. See you then!
