This is a way that you can give a person feedback about their behavior.
If a person says or does something you like say,
"I like it when you (say what you like), because (say why you like it)."
OR
If someone says or does something you don't like first ask, "Why did you say (or do) that"?
Then say,
"I don't like it when you (say what you don't like), because (say why you don't like it)."
