My partner and I will now tell you about the food that we eat. We have very good food and good restaurants. Two of the most popular in our STATE is probably Burger King and McDonalds. One of my favorite restaurants to eat at is Kentucky Fried Chicken. The most popular food in MAINE is probably seafood, like lobsters, clams, and fish. (See the page, the Atlantic Ocean for seafood.)
One of the best and most popular food is just lobsters. We get plenty of those. It's just that they are too expensive. That's what I think. I mean a lobster usually cost around $9.00. But once in a while my family will by some. Burgers are also pretty popular in Maine. It's funny because Burger King and Mc Donalds are competing against each other. There are not many places you find just Mc Donalds or just Burger King. They are always together competing or at least usually.
Maine is very heavy in food supply. We do tons of farming. Do any of you readers get any blueberries from Maine? We ship them all across the U.S.A. There is only one problem. Once I have one I can't stop having them. We have a big field in Wiscasset that grows tons and tons of blueberries. My backyard might grow some too. We also get other wild berries such as strawberries and blackberries. We also grow potatoes. We grow lots and lots of potatoes. We are one of the top potato growing states. We grow a lot of corn too. We have lots of farmers that's how we grow a lot. We get good weather too. We get good growing weather in the summer. We eat pizza in Maine too. We don't get a lot of that but we know pizza does cost a lot of money. In our town a large pizza costs up to $20.00!!! Man!, I think they like to rip you off in Maine sometimes. Every year my dad tries to grow a garden. It won't always come out. He usually gets it right though. We buy seeds from the store instead of from the plant. We are lucky because my aunt's brother owns a plower. I can't remember if he makes us pay or not. We get tons of good food. I hope this page helped!
