Implementation

This interdisciplinary lesson will take more than one setting. Children will need time to explore the sights and gather information at the computer. Note taking will occur at this time. After the researching and note taking is completed, children may need to continue referring to the computer for further directions on the completion of the pamphlet and presentation. Computers will need to be available at all times.

Actual class time will vary depending on the number of computers available at your school. This can be set up as an independent research station or as a whole class research station with children working as partners or in a small group of three. Students will need to create pamphlets at their desks. Students will need to meet with their teacher to schedule a time for their oral presentation.
