NCIP The National Center to Improve Practice (NCIP) promotes the effective use of technology to enhance educational outcomes for students with sensory, cognitive, physical and social/emotional disabilities. Selected as Pick o' the Month by the U.S. Department of facilitated by experts in the field. Peruse the extensive online library of resources about technology and special education, and/or participate in one or all of the eight facilitated discussion forums on NCIPnet, the telecommunications network of NCIP (it's free!). The site contains video clips illustrating how students with disabilities use a range of assistive and instructional technologies to improve their learning, and more than 100 links to other websites dealing with technology and/or students with disabilities.
