Hodding Carter and Lisa Lattes came to visit our classroom on April 29, 1997. Hodding told us facts about the Viking Ship. We learned that Hodding and his crew were going to take the exact route of the Vikings unless the wind threw them off course. We also learned that a carrier ship will haul the Viking Ship to it's starting point in Greenland. Hodding gave each kid in our class a packet that had the Viking alphabet! We all wrote our names in the Viking alphabet!
